So sad to hear of Peter’s passing. Such a great loss to you and your family. I just wanted to send my deepest condolences and let you know that Peter was such an inspiration to me from a young age. He took me to my first football match with Johnny when I was 8 years old after a sleep-over at your house in Camberley. It had a lasting effect on me and I’ve been going ever since (but to West Ham I’m afraid – not Peter’s beloved Tottenham!) I always admired his confident, positive, can-do attitude, and appreciated his warm, funny, encouraging nature. I like to think those are qualities that may have rubbed off on me, at least a little.
